So what’s happening in ECU? For one thing, another handover is around. On the 24th September 2000, another generation of excos came in, under Bro. Niyi Odeyale, our erstwhile Bible Study Sec. New Chief is Bayodele Olotu, a student of Mechanical Engineering who joined 4-5 in his first year, i.e 1995. Ably assisted by ADC Soji Akinyemi [FST III], SecGen Toyosi Adebayo [Econs Edu II], FinSec Titi Obisesan [Agric IV], PrayerSec Yemisi Ojo [Agric III], TechDir/AcadSec Idowu Ogunade[Geog II] and OrgSec Dapo Olapoju [Acct II], he will be directing the affairs of the group for this hour. Your prayers, advice and assistance are invited. He claims not to need any congrats as he thinks it a real bind and stressful stuff, but we seem to know better. Don’t mind the funny fellow, his head is still on his shoulders, and he’ll make good. INCOMING/OUTGOING GENERATIONS
We trust God that each time we congregate, the spirit of excellence will infiltrate our ranks, His spirit gyrate amongst us and mandate us to militate to greater heights. May he fill our plate and pate, vindicate us, elevate us and radiate in us.
From our senior friends, it's been good news all the way. At the last count, 4-5 had two marriages coming up this December. On Saturday, Dec. 9, Sis. Bidemi Fasoyin will be exchanging her maiden name for an Mr.S degree at Ring Road, Ibadan, and for those who think that is all we have to do with that city, wait a minute! 23 December is the date and Methodist Church, Bodija is the place where Sis. Kemi Faoye will be leaving the glorious state of singleness for the more glorious state [don't ask me for it's name]. 10am is the time, and reception follows immediately at ISI.
